Graham Thompson Donates Books to School and Volunteer Programme

Wednesday June 6th, Graham Thompson partners Michelle Pindling-Sands and Michela Ellis visited Uriah McPhee Primary School to present books donated by the law firm, for the school’s library. Volunteer readers from Graham Thompson, including attorneys and staff, had been visiting the school on a weekly basis to read to Uriah McPhee’s second graders.

The firm’s reading commitment to the school began with a Literacy Day in February, when Graham Thompson volunteers read to all twenty-eight of the school’s classes throughout the day, including grades 1 through 6.

When the new school year begins in September, the firm will continue it’s reading commitment to Uriah McPhee, continuing with the same students into the third grade. The firm also donated books to The Volunteer Reading Project, which has facilitated its involvement with the primary school.
